Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 23, 2026 · Last updated: October 23, 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to find and score contract jobs for you and to run your account. We don't sell your personal information, we don't share it for targeted advertising, and we don't use your resumes to train AI. You can see, download, correct or delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Golden Eagle Jobs (goldeneaglejobs.com) is run by Harmonic Consulting Inc., a Texas corporation doing business as Golden Eagle Jobs ("we," "us"), 101 E Park Blvd, Suite 600, Plano, TX 75074. We control the personal information described here. Privacy questions: privacy@goldeneaglejobs.com.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account details | First and last name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash) | You, at signup | Yes |
| Contact details | Mobile number, mailing address | You | Optional |
| Security data | Two-factor method type, phone used for codes, sign-in times, device and browser, IP address | You and your device | Yes |
| Resumes and search profiles | Work history, skills, certifications, education, target roles, rates, job types, location preferences, work authorization, and security clearance level if you choose to share it | You | You choose what to upload |
| Job activity | Jobs found for you, scores, and jobs you save, apply to or dismiss | Created by the Service | Created automatically |
| Billing data | Plan, billing history, card brand and last 4 digits, billing ZIP or address | You, through Stripe (we never receive your full card number) | For paid plans |
| Communication choices | Text and email alert settings, the time and wording of your text consent, opt-outs | You | Optional |
| Usage and technical data | Pages viewed, errors, approximate location from IP | Your browser, via essential cookies and server logs | Created automatically |
Information you shouldn't upload: Social Security numbers, birth dates, bank details, health information or photos of ID. Remove them from resumes before uploading; the Service doesn't need them.
Sensitive details. Citizenship or work-authorization status and security clearance level can count as sensitive personal information under some state laws. We collect them only if you enter them, use them only to filter and score jobs for you, and you can remove them at any time.
3. How we use it
- To run the Service: search job sources for your profiles, filter postings against your settings, and produce scores, summaries and "how to apply" notes.
- AI processing: we send the text of your resumes and search profiles, along with public job postings, to our AI provider (Anthropic) to match and score jobs. Anthropic processes it on our behalf under contract and doesn't use it to train its models. Scores are automated suggestions; they don't decide anything about you on their own, and no employer sees them.
- To keep accounts secure: two-factor sign-in, fraud and abuse detection, and password resets.
- To bill you and communicate: process payments, send receipts, trial, renewal and price-change notices, and send the job alerts you've turned on.
- To support and improve the Service: answer support requests, fix problems and measure which sources and features are useful, using de-identified or aggregated data where we can.
- To meet legal obligations: tax and accounting records, records of your consent, and responses to lawful requests.
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service. They act on our instructions and under contracts that limit how they can use it.
| Provider | What they do | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in, two-factor sign-in, file storage | Account, profile, resume and job data |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and app | Technical and usage data passing through |
| Stripe | Payment processing and billing portal | Name, email, billing details, card (held by Stripe) |
| Twilio | Sends sign-in codes and text alerts | Mobile number, message content |
| Resend | Sends email | Email address, message content |
| Anthropic | AI that searches, matches and scores jobs | Resume and profile text, job postings |
We may also share information to comply with the law (a valid subpoena or court order), to protect people, our users or the Service from fraud or harm, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case the new owner must honor this policy or tell you first.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or give it to employers or recruiters. Job sites see only what any visitor's browser sends when you click through to a posting.
Text-message data. Your mobile number and text consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing. They go only to Twilio, to deliver the messages you asked for.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, which keep you signed in and protect your session. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Because of that, we have nothing to switch off for "Global Privacy Control" signals, but we honor them as an opt-out of any sale or sharing if that ever changes.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account, profiles and resumes | While your account is open; deleted within 30 days after you delete your account |
| Profiles and saved jobs after a plan ends | 90 days, then deleted unless you subscribe again or ask us to keep them |
| Jobs found for you | Unsaved jobs are removed about 10 days after posting; saved and applied jobs stay until you remove them |
| Billing and tax records | 7 years, as tax law requires (Stripe keeps its own records) |
| Subscription consent records | At least 3 years, or 1 year after your subscription ends if that's longer |
| Text-message consent and opt-out records | 5 years after the last message |
| Security logs | 12 months |
| Backups | Overwritten within 30 days |
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, required two-factor sign-in, hashed passwords, database rules that let each user see only their own data, private resume storage, and least-privilege staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
Every user gets these rights, whatever state they live in:
| Right | How to use it |
|---|---|
| See and download your data (access and portability) | Account → Download my data, or email us |
| Correct it | Edit it on your Account and Profiles pages, or email us |
| Delete it | Remove resumes or profiles any time, or Account → Delete account |
| Opt out of texts or alert emails | Reply STOP, or change your Account settings |
| Limit use of sensitive details | Leave work-authorization and clearance fields blank, or clear them |
| Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted ads | We don't do any of these, so there's nothing to opt out of |
To make a request by email, write to privacy@goldeneaglejobs.com from your account email. We'll confirm your identity, usually through your account sign-in, and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why; the law allows up to 45 more days. You can name an authorized agent to make a request for you; we'll ask for proof they're acting for you. We won't charge you, or treat you differently, for using these rights.
Appeals. If we turn down your request, reply to our answer within 60 days to appeal. We'll respond within the time your state's law sets (usually 45–60 days). If you're still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.
State-specific notes. California residents: this policy works as our notice at collection, and the categories in Section 2 are the categories we've collected in the last 12 months; we haven't sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Residents of states with their own privacy laws, such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, have the rights in the table above.
9. Children
The Service is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Where your data is stored
We and our service providers store and process data in the United States. The Service is intended for US users.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll email you and post a notice in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. We won't use information we already have in a materially different way without asking you first. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
